JUNE 2024: I just finished my Apple Retail in store group interview and most of these questions were spot on! They didn’t mention the “experimental route” question. And the “above and beyond” question was asked but minus the “others didn’t” part. The only other question was about “a time that I was able to help the business by exceeding my performance expectations.”
Now I hate recruiters even more

Hello Ben I just finished my Phase one and phase 2 interview and I want to say everything went great, with the help of your videos I was able to answer all questions that were thrown against me easily I got an email that I have qualified to the final round of the interview and I will Be meeting the store manager or leaders. I must say I am really anxious and hopeful i crush this one too and land the job offer I will keep you you updated on the status of my final interview results

But I loved your videos so mugged it up for my group interview (within 1 day) then I get my second interview at apple after a week! YOU REALLY ARE AMAZING MAN! THANK YOU sooo much!
I was late, but arrived on time with no video, so it was tech issues that required me to download the software on another computer to finally get video to work. Whole thing was 12 min after but we stayed four min after the hour. I'm optimistic it went well.

There are mostly toxic work environments nowadays so asking for references should be forbidden. Just give me a try and you will see how I work.
Ben, what does it mean when a company is flying me to their headquarters for a final interview? They said they want me to meet people, shake hands, tour the facilities and determine whether or not this is going to be a great fit for both sides. Does this mean i have a legitimate shot and landing this job?? Please lmk

Spent 2 years now looking for a job in the field I have damn near mastered the skills required. Not a single interview followed up with a direct answer after explicitly stating that “hey I’d respect whatever decision you make, but please do inform me if you don’t decide to go further” this job market is a fucking scam I might as well just ride my bike into a wall at this point in life. Gen Z btw.

What if scenario: 1. First round was for 30 mins, interviewer finishes in 21 mins. Makes notes throughout. 2. Interviewer was engaged throughout. 3. Tells candidate, we are still interviewing other candidates BUT DO NOT WORRY, you will hear from HR IN couple of days 4. Calls ends with appreciating candidate taking time to give interview. What do you think? Moved to next level or rejected in first level?

Hey Ben, what are your thoughts on replying to weakness-related questions with an admission that you’re a perfectionist, as long as you explicitly acknowledge that it’s a weakness, an overused answer and the steps that you’re taking to work on it? In my case it’s a genuine weakness for me and I don’t know how to go about making that known

Interesting but I have noticed nearly all Ai services atm are the same in their vocabulary and sentenced structure so a lot of resumes can look very identical losing the human touch. With that being said I still gotta use AI because it will take way too long to modify based on the job description on your own nowadays 😂

I truly am looking for a great company to grow with, so i truthfully told them why I would love to work for them. I got hired the same day I applied🩷 smile and give great eye contact! you guys got this!! ☺️
i have social anxiety as well, so i was still shaky ahaha you dont have to be “completely confident”
I had a 30 minute interview with a hiring manager for a Senior role that lasted all 30 minutes. I felt really good about my chances and how I interviewed. This is for a company I previous worked in for 12 years. The manager showed good enthusiasm and answered all my questions thoroughly. She closed out the interview with a reminder that if I was interested in another position that she would be glad to recommend me. I don’t feel too confident about my chances. (Side Note: I was a finalist for another role for that same company just last week and I was not offered that role).

I START MY FIRST DAY (ORIENTATION/ first official hired day) THE 27TH🎉 Thank you, Ben. Without your videos I wouldn’t have been as confident/ prepared. Not sure how other Costco managers/ employees are when it comes to interviews but mine weren’t sugar coating anything, came in with questions wanting full depth, and pushed to hear more and more. One HUGE piece of advice is memorize their mission statement/ code of ethics and mention them both when asked “Why Costco?” Play it up big, they’ll love it.
Hey @BenTalksTalent, this video was very helpful! I recently had an interview with a Recruiter, it was interesting. Only 15min long, but we went over and at the end it seemed he wanted me to let him know how my other opportunities are going/if there's changes. However, the recruiter said "they'd strongly advocate for me" and "put me on the list of 10 candidates to the hiring manager to consider". I wasn't told a time line but the next step is the manager to pick 5 and be interviewed by 3-4 panelist. There's a lot of mix-signals here. How would you interpret this one?
Ben… thank you so much for this video and help. I just passed my stage 1 interview for Apple with flying colours! The answer I gave to ‘Why Apple?’ Was given a 10 out of 10 and was told it was a perfect answer. So a big thanks for that. The questions asked I was told to give answers as examples of when I had done these things, not in general, it’s important that people answer that way. I was asked: Why Apple Can I give an example of a time I went over and above for a customer How have I dealt with a situation that I had little or no knowledge of Can I give an example of when I had to learn a piece of tech quickly and how I did that. I was also told the S.T.A.R method is a fantastic way to answer questions and if you stick to that you will nail all your answers. Great video, thank you for giving me the confidence I needed when going into the interview. 💪🏻
